Conductivity Meter Instructions

I. Instrument Setup

1. Insert black calibrator plug

2. Set range for 2000 and measure micromho's (uS)

3. Adjust red calibration knob in back till instrument reads 1000.

II. Operation

1. Turn function switch to micromho's

2. Rinse probe with solution to be measured

3. Place probe in solution to be measured

4. Select range that gives the greatest number of significant digits

5. Read the answer while stirring probe / solution continuously

6. For range settings 20 to 2000 display reads in micromhos

7. For range settings 20,000 to 200,000 multiply reading by 1000 to obtain micromhos

III. Cleanup

1. Rinse probe thoroughly with distilled / deionized water by squirting vigorously through vent hole in the plastic guard

2. Store dry in 50 ml tube

1. All readings are temp. compensated to 25C

2. Accuracy rated at 0.04 %

3. Range: 0.05 to 200,000 micromhos
